Halloween Invitations
|
Once you have your invitations, decorating is a snap. For the kids, create custom witch tutus by using tulle and then add appliques to add extra dazzle. Don't forget to make felt hats for all of the sweet little witches and wizards that attend. You can start prepping your witches brew and treats for the guests by making Witch broom candy kabobs out of sour straws and green kool-aid to drink. Create bottled creepy snacks with candy from your local store, just find things like "eerie eyeballs," "bat droppings" & "magic worms", then create some ghoulish cake pops by dripping frosting and adding little eye balls with candy beads. Another fun idea is to make an oversized witch silhouette backdrop centerpiece along with a spooky forest and then make skull inspired poison apples. Just hop on Pinterest for more in depth instructions. We promise your guests will be squealing with excitement. Don't forget the bewitching Halloween tablescape. You can include potion bottles and beverage glasses along spider leg cupcake holders, all of these you can find at your local dollar store when it's all put together, it will look like the haunted mansion. If you are more of a "no kids please" partier on the hallows eve, host a "Let's get RIPped" party. Let your guest gasp when greeted by skeletons, tombstones, spider webs, and all kinds of spooky stuff for a Haunted Halloween Costume that will leave all of you haunted by all the fun and allow you to get *RIPped* up all night! The adults-only bash can have eerie black table settings, green steaming cocktails, and of course, your fabulous party guest costumes. There will be loads of "trick and treating" throughout the night. Set the scene with skull candelabra centerpieces draped with skeleton bones and confetti. Start planning early by creating dripping wine bottle candles, just drink the wine and add dripping wax. Someone has to do it! Create a cupcake graveyard with tombstone toppers and a haunted mansion cake. Have signature green cocktails with spiders and add some dry ice steam for drama. Don't forget the costume contest with gold skeleton trophies. You can have a "Here lies your final resting place" tombstone seating chart along with each guest's black goblets embossed with gold lettering. The "Trick or Treat" dessert table can host assorted candy bowls covered in spider webs. Tricks are not just for kids, after all. You will be the talk of the town for sure, and have your friends dying for next year! |
