Celebrating a new home is one of the most fun and exciting times of one's life. Celebrating your new nest is definitely a reason to have a housewarming party. Here at Polka Dot design we love hosting events like these because they are filled with so much heart. After the laborious act of moving, you really deserve a party! Having a new home party is so special because you are inviting all of your loved ones into your new four walls that you now call home. If you're just starting out there's no reason that you can't host a housewarming party that is a kitchen shower for yourself. After all you'll probably be cooking in the kitchen for all those people from here on out! Ask them to bring their favorite gadget, or that one thing a kitchen should never be without, it's always so fun to see what other people love.
